Photo of Chicken Teriyaki and WineMatching food and wine can sometimes be a bit of a challenge, and no more so than when it comes to Pan-Asian food. So, we have teamed up with Ian Harvey from the Wine Tasting Company to offer you a great opportunity for you to join us for a fantastic 3 course wine-matching dinner.

You will enjoy a selection of 4 starters, 5 main courses spanning Chinese, Malaysian, Japanese and Thai cuisine, and finishing off with a delicious Mango Cheesecake.  Each course all paired with wine and all the food will be served family style so you can enjoy each and every dish.

After a reception drink, each of the 3 courses will be expertly paired with a matching wines, presented by our wine expert who will guide you through the principles of food and wine matching, and why each wine works with each particular dish.

YUK SUNG PORK (CHINESE)
Minced pork or wrapped in a crispy iceberg, lettuce.

CHICKEN SATAY (MALAYSIAN)
Marinated pieces of chicken on bamboo sticks; complemented with satay sauce.

PRAWN TEMPURA (JAPANESE)
Crispy and lightly battered prawns with ginger tempura sauce.

STEAMED SCALLOPS (MALAYSIAN)
Fresh king scallops steamed in garlic and fresh ginger sauce

Main Courses 

GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST IN TERIYAKI SAUCE (JAPANESE)
Grilled chicken with black mushroom and asparagus in teriyaki sauce.

SLICED DUCK PAIRED WITH CUCUMBER AND RASPBERRY (CHINESE)
Topped with delicious homemade raspberry and Chinese plum sauce.

CRISPY SHREDDED BEEF (MALAYSIAN)
Strips of beef seasoned and fried until crispy and served in our chef’s 
special hot garlic chilli sauce.

GREEN PRAWN CURRY (THAI)
with Thai aubergines, red chilli, sweet basil and 
lime leaves cooked in coconut milk.

STIR FRIED MIXED VEGETABLES WITH BASIL CHILI PASTE (THAI)
Wok fried mixed vegetables with basil leaves, chilli paste in oyster and fish sauce.

All served with Steamed Jasmine Rice
