We have some great background music acts for you at The Eastern restaurant over the summer.
You will have the chance to cool down smooth sounds from our favourite saxophonist, Samantha Jayne in August and September. We have also invited superb Midlands solo singer, Nolan Terry, into The Eastern family with him entertaining you in September.
All of our entertainment is pitched to provide background music which will perfectly accompany your meal, completely free of charge. So if you fancy a delicious Pan-Asian dinner delightfully counterpointed by cool music then join us on one of the below evenings.
Samantha Jayne- Cool Saxophonist
Samantha-Jayne’s interest in the sax started when, aged 17 she first heard Kenny G’s ‘Song Bird’. The next week, armed with £400 savings from her Saturday job, she set off for Birmingham for some serious clothes shopping, but stumbled across a music shop with a soprano sax in the window. The price? … £400.
Nolan Terry- Smooth Solo Singer
Nolan is a professional singer, that’s his full time job so you know you are going to hear a great vocalist! He has his own tribute to Swing and new for 2014 ‘Soul Town’ is a brand new show tributing the ultimate sounds of Soul, Motown & Funk.
Travelling all over the country, he has performed at Warwick Castle, The International Convention Centre (Birmingham), Tiger Tiger Clubs, Village Hotels, Gala Casinos and Grosvenor Casinos to name just a few. With over 67,000 views on You Tube to date Nolan is certainly one to watch.
